Breaking Your Bad Communication Habits

Have you ever gone through your closet and sorted out your old clothes? You know, ones that either don’t fit, or that aren’t your “color?”  I learned recently that I shouldn’t wear black. I think half of my wardrobe is black.  So, I decided it was time for some clothing reassessment. Living with Intention

The last few weeks have been filled with events, celebrations, and a lot of time off work.  It’s been wonderful, but this week it’s back to my routine. My routine. Right.  You mean the one that has me staying up til midnight watching Netflix with my husband, then slogging through work and saying no to new opportunities because I’m just “too busy?” Nope. That routine doesn’t reflect what I want my new year to be like.  This year I want to take charge of my priorities and live with more intention.  And that’s my word for the year: INTENTION.  It represents

The 5 Alarm Morning

I’m not a morning person. My husband would say that is an understatement. I confess – I often stay up later than I should because that’s when my brain is wide awake and I feel most productive, or at least that’s my story. When I do that, it makes getting up early a challenge. So, I’ve come up with a new system for getting out of bed. I call it my 5-Alarm system.
